Video Instruction
Twenty of Calvary's standard M.Div. courses (a total of 42 credits) are also available on videotape. Designed as a flexible option for both resident and non-resident students, the video courses are taught by the faculty and are the same as those offered on the Seminary's campus. Video for the class lectures are sent to the student along with course notes. Normally, no more than one video course may be pursued at a time. Course duration for non-resident students is 150 days. Students taking resident credits who wish also to take courses by video must take such courses on the resident academic schedule upon approval by the Registrar.

Participants may enroll as degree, certificate, auditing, or visiting students. While video offers a flexible way for students to earn credit toward the M.Div., all candidates for the Master of Divinity degree must fulfill the required 32-credit residency requirement.

For more information, please see the video instruction section.

Study abroad
Holy Land studies
Several resident programs in Jerusalem are recommended for training in Bible geography, history, culture, and archaeology. One to fours credit hours may be earned through a combination of practical experience and traditional academic work. Some requirements must be met at least four months prior to the trip. Arrangements will be made through the Director of Holy Land Studies.

Missions internships
The seminary offers courses blending academic work with practical experience on foreign mission fields, and they are encouraged for all students considering missions. These courses typically run several months to one year and may count for up to four credits. See "Missions," under "Student Life and Ministry," for more information on this program.
